At OneShare Health, our mission of sharing and caring goes beyond providing affordable healthcare solutions. It’s about living out our values and supporting our communities in practical, impactful ways.
Recently, our team had the opportunity to do just that during a community service project day, where OneShare Health employees came together to lend a helping hand at two incredible organizations: Our Calling in Dallas, Texas, and Marjorie Ruth Thomas Harvest 'Haven of Rest' in Akron, Ohio.
Giving Back to Those in Need
On this day of service, our team prepared and served nutritious meals, worked on landscaping, and assisted with seasonal activities to support individuals in need. At Our Calling, which serves the homeless population in Dallas, our volunteers were able to provide warm meals to those struggling with housing insecurity. Simultaneously, team members in Akron supported the 'Haven of Rest', an organization dedicated to providing shelter and support for women and children, by helping with a variety of essential tasks.
This effort was a part of our ongoing "Mission in Motion" initiative, which aims to foster a sense of togetherness and support not just within OneShare Health, but also within the communities we serve. We believe that living our faith means being active participants in the world around us, helping to uplift those who need it most.
A Stronger Team, a Stronger Community

Inspired by the biblical principle of sharing burdens, as outlined in Galatians 6:2, our team is committed to finding ways to serve and uplift the community whenever possible. And we’re just getting started—OneShare Health looks forward to continuing to put our "Mission in Motion" in the months and years ahead.

Community service is a reflection of our core values at OneShare Health. As an ACA-exempt Christian Health Care Sharing Ministry, we aim to exemplify transparency, integrity, and compassion not just in our health care solutions but in everything we do. We are excited to see how our team’s efforts will continue to make a positive impact on both our members and the broader community.
