Hope is one of the most powerful tools a disciple of Jesus has. It keeps us steady in times of testing and gives us a reason to keep going. The apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. We have hope in Christ because He is faithful! Nothing or no one can give us what Jesus can give us. This world tries to promise us happiness and fulfillment, but it always fails to deliver. No possession, no position. No amount of power can give us the hope that Jesus gives. My prayer for you come out of Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
