It's easy for children (and adults) to become bored when doing routine exercises. So rather than long, structured exercise sessions—which can be difficult and boring for some—try integrating short bursts of fitness into your daily life. For example, take five minutes every morning after breakfast to do sit-ups, push-ups, squats, or jumping jacks—it's a great way to get the blood flowing and burn calories without forcing yourself into a gym routine you may not follow.
