Teams from One Share Health’s office in Texas and Ohio recently joined to volunteer in their local communities. Employees based out of the Texas office served at a nonprofit, Our Calling, in Dallas, Texas, which is a nonprofit organization that supports homeless and underserved communities with meals and spiritual support. In addition, Our Calling helps unsheltered homeless neighbors walk with Jesus and get off the streets. Everyday the organization asks two questions: “Will you trust the Lord?” and “Can we help you off the streets?” Everything done at Our Calling is rooted in three “C’s”, which are, Caring with Dignity, Connecting Intentionally, and Creating Healthy community.
The One Share Health team in Ohio volunteered at the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank, and helped provide 2,923 meals to their local community. The mission of the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank is to feed people, and fight hunger.
Together, One Share Health team members and executive leaders ministered side-by-side to make an impact in the communities they serve.
