Edamame can be eaten as a snack or used in recipes. It can be steamed, boiled, or stir-fried. You can find it fresh, frozen, or canned. You can also find it shelled or still in the pod. Choose edamame that is plump and dark green, and avoid edamame that is yellow or brown.
